Network Swap could be risky and need both accuracy and speed not to impact subscriber perceived quality, to achieve better KPI during Network Swap. It is important to consider better planning, design, deployment and most importantly pre and post launch tuning acceptance of network sites. All these factors have major long-term impacts on the project and must be addressed properly.
TNSS Global provided advisory services to Ericsson in setting up the project, negotiate, mapping KPI and network parameters to achieve seamless swap of 4700 multi technology sites. TNSS Global was part of Ericsson delivery team and conducted workshops for customer to better understand swap strategy, ways of working and process, followed through the entire project life cycle. Mobilizing 55 Senior level RF Optimization resources within short period of time while conducting network audits for quick win during the launch.

Network wide cases were analyzed, 45% cases were closed.
With increasing network complexity, multi technology, multi-vendor environment and rapid growth in network traffic, Alfa Telecom partnered with TNSS Global to deliver Smart Optimization Services. With the aim of maintaining competitiveness and improving network efficiency. TNSS Global adopted a smart approach to maximize network performance. We aimed to enhance the end user experience towards voice and data services with all related applications. In addition to improving network performance and KPIs on all existing technologies, TNSS Global optimized network coverage and quality through extensive Network Optimization efforts.
Airtel Africa Operations Support Project 2015-16 was awarded to TNSS Global. This covered multifold operations support during the transition of 6 MS operations taken over by Airtel from tier 1 vendors for in-house management. The scope of the project covered the supervision of due diligence of the networks, development of in-house MS organization, development of all the operational processes and other required OLAs and SLAs for 6 OPCOs. This was later extended to all 17 OPCOs, technical support for fault handling and NOC operations. Moreover, TNSS Global was responsible for providing support for network design, planning and optimizations of those 6 OPCOs covering accessibility troubleshooting, retainability troubleshooting and throughput troubleshooting.
The major activities included were verification of network data, assessment and re-development of in-house operations organization, writing of job descriptions of missing resources, shortlisting and interviewing new candidates, technical support in fault handing for NOC and FLM, development and delivery of all the operational processes based on ITIL framework, evaluation of performance management practices, RF planning and optimization support and troubleshooting, development of network capacity management procedure and many other network related problems.
The project was successfully completed in 7 months by deploying 6 subject matter experts at Airtel Africa headquarters in Nairobi, Kenya. The SMEs used to travel to various OPCOs as and when required.

Worked in Partnership with Mobilitie for the Volte Readiness Launch in World’s Most Remote Location in Alaska, successful delivered Pre and Post Optimization that also included redesign of the existing network to remove overshoots and make nominal plan for any future sites’ requirements of coverage and capacity.
